 SCHOLARSHIPS

We’re pleased to offer scholarships for the conference as part of our effort to expand the dog training community’s inclusiveness and provide assistance to those who are experiencing financial hardship.

Please note that scholarships are not transferable.

How and when are scholarships awarded?

We will randomly select recipients on May 31 and on June 14. If you are awarded a scholarship, notification will be sent to you by email.

BIPOC scholarship recipients must register and pay within 7 calendar days of notification (if you have already registered, you will receive a 50% refund).

Hardship and Junior recipients will be sent instructions on how to proceed with their registration.

Does my application submission guarantee my eligibility?

All submissions are subject to review for eligibility and only eligible applications will be placed in the random pool.

Can I apply for more than one scholarship?

No, you can apply for only one scholarship.

Scholarships for Black People, Indigenous People, and People of Color

We are committed to making the dog training community and dog sports community more inclusive, both among professionals as well as individual trainers. If you are a BIPOC dog trainer that is part of a minority group within your country of residence, you may apply for a 50% reduction off the registration fee.

If you are selected as a BIPOC scholarship recipient and you have already registered for the event, we will refund 50% of your payment. If you are not selected as a recipient and still wish to attend, the conference rate in effect at the time of your registration will apply.

 REGISTRATION FAQS

How do I register?
You can register on the Clean Run website.

To register to attend the event in-person, click here.

To register for the livestream, click here

What's included in the registration fee?
Conference registration includes access to all of the scheduled presentations and working labs as well as any downloadable documents in the classroom. You also get access to all the conference recordings FOR LIFE!

What's NOT included in the fee?
In-person attendees are responsible for their own meals. There is a Big Y grocery store just a few minutes away along with restaurants.

We will be providing coffee, tea and light snacks at the facility.

Can I cancel my registration?
In-Person: If your circumstances change and you cannot attend the conference, you may cancel by July 1 for a full refund less a $30 processing fee. After this deadline, no refunds will be issued unless we can fill your working spot (the processing fee will still apply). You may also transfer your individual registration to another person. To cancel or transfer a registration, please contact Clean Run customer service.

Livestream: There are no refunds for livestream events. You won't miss out on any content even if you're unable to watch the livestream on the scheduled dates. Everything will be available on-demand.

 DOG POLICIES

  • All dogs must be on a 6ft. leash at all times. NO flexi-leads are allowed.

  • Dogs will be toileted in designated areas and handlers must pick-up and dispose of waste in the receptacles provided on-site.

  • Handlers should expect to keep their dogs confined in a crate or vehicle when not working. We have limited space available for indoor crating, so if you wish to crate indoors, you will only have enough space for 1 (one) crate. There is no room for ex-pens, tents, or unentered dogs. If you have to bring more than one dog, you must crate out of your vehicle. The parking lot is paved and there isn't much natural shade, so plan on bringing sufficient shade panels to keep your dogs comfortable.

  • There will be ample potty areas, but dogs should not be allowed to “play”, exercise, or train on the grounds.

 STREAMING FAQS

What language are the presentations in?

The presentations are in English.

Is the conference close captioned?

We do not have built in closed captioning; however, Google Chrome offers a feature for closed captioning: support.google.com/chrome/answer/10538231?hl=en.

What equipment do I need to watch the livestream or the recordings?

The livestreaming will be broadcast on Zoom. For a list of what operating systems and devices are supported, please refer to their help article.

The recordings can be watched in the conference classroom in the Clean Run Learning Center. You will receive a link to the classroom when you register. Watching the recorded presentations will take less bandwidth than watching the livestream because the video playback will be buffered as necessary. If you are unsure whether your internet speed is sufficient to watch the recorded videos, you can test it out by joining our free class in the Clean Run Learning Center. The class focuses on agility training, but there are a number of videos you can test out in that classroom. (Note: You will be asked to register when you click the link.)

When are the presentation recordings available?

We try to upload the recordings at the end of each day, but depending on circumstances, it can take longer for the recordings to be available.
